Brooklyn based fashion designer, Eesha Patel, creates sophisticated menswear and womenswear defined by sensuality, craftsmanship, and quiet precision. Rooted in the dialogue between her American upbringing and Indian heritage, her work reimagines traditional textile practices through a contemporary Western lens, creating garments that honor both innovation and history. Recently she has begun working in close collaboration with artisans across India. She is integrating traditional techniques into modern silhouettes, preserving craft while expanding its relevance for a new generation. Each collection explores the relationship between maker and garment, celebrating the hand behind the work in order to highlight the human connection behind fashion. 

Her collections are shaped by the tension between opposing forces: architectural structure and organic drape, masculinity and femininity, restraint and sensuality, past and present. These contrasts define a design language that is both sculptural and fluid, creating pieces that feel intentional, enduring, and deeply human.Through ongoing material research, swatch archives, and process documentation, Patel builds a living record of textile knowledge while developing a contemporary, gender-fluid wardrobe. Guided by craftsmanship, symbolism, and cultural exchange, her work seeks to preserve disappearing traditions while creating clothing that expresses connection, balance, and quiet power.

Her journey into fashion began at the young age of 5 when she first learned to sew quilts and gained her appreciation for the art of making. This quickly turned into her teaching classes by the age of 15 and later going on to study fashion design at Parsons School of Design. She has a passion for couture and tailoring techniques because she values the intentionality and detail-oriented practice that can create garments to last generations.
